Accolades: 2017 first-team All-American, 2017 first-team All-ACC, 2017 Hendricks (best defensive end) and Bronko Nagurski (best defender) Awards.

Injuries:

History: 3 star recruit out of Powder Springs, GA. Has bloodlines, his father stared at Georgia, his brother at Wake Forrest, and Nick (Georgia RB) is his cousin.

Strengths: Ideal size, built well. Quick, violent and strong hands. Punishes offensive linemen with the first punch. Quicker than a guy his size should be. Relentless motor. Always moving his feet. Can hold the edge in the run game. Can stand up or get into a 3 point stance. Played against top level linemen. Has a knack for stripping the ball. Has lined up on both sides of the ball. 3 year production.

Weaknesses: Not super twitchy as some previous top EDGE guys. Not going to give you anything in coverage. Somewhat top heavy. Doesn’t have a ton of experience standing up.

Overview: A big, strong pass rusher with violent hands. Chubb is best suited as an end in a 40 front. He has all the physical ability and the production vs top end competition to back it up. Depending on the QB craze, he should be a top 5 pick.

Draft Projection: Top 5 Pick
