Misc. Stats:

Accolades: 2nd team All-SEC in 2015 and 2016

Injuries: Needed surgery to repair both labrums in college.

History: Basketball player who didn’t start playing football until junior year of high school.  Played better in 2015 where he was asked to attack more than new defense in 2016 which was more read and react.

Strengths:  Good quickness and burst. Utilizes multiple pass rushing moves including a good spin move.  Was quite effective penetrating to the inside and making plays against the run and effecting the pocket on pass plays.

Weaknesses:  Not very big or long and tested worse than expected at the combine although he did improve his vertical leap to 37.5″ at his Pro Day from 32″ at the combine.  Can get bullied in the run game and also shows a lack of awareness in that aspect and and can be slow to react.

Overview:  Exciting pass rusher that shows athleticism and a variety of pass rushing moves but has concerns in the run game.  Lack of ideal bulk and length coupled with sub-par testing numbers knocks him down a peg.

Draft Projection: Mid 1st rounder
