History: A 4 star recruit who prepped in Tennessee.

Strengths: Agile not fast, Barnett recorded a 6.96 3-cone drill (top 5 among DEs). Has big hands (10″) and knows how to use them. Extremely productive throughout career, broke Reggie White’s career sack record at Tennessee. Motor and effort, relentless in both the run and pass.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t have great initial burst. Not an elite athlete. Could look to add some weight to his frame and get stronger. Would need some time to learn coverages to play OLB. Average leg explosiveness (31″ vert and 117″ broad).

Overview: Reminds me a little bit of Everson Griffin, but not as fast. Uses his hands really well and is more agile than fast. I think he’s more of RDE, but could be used as an “predator” in a 30 front. I even heard one NFL Scout say he could put some weight on and play a 3-technique.
