Injury History.

History. Four-star recruit from Marietta, GA. Participated in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl and 2017 Nike’s The Opening. Prepped at Marietta High School, where he also played basketball.

Strengths: Thick and muscular player. Good athlete (ran 4.60 at his pro day). Really good closing burst. Good short area quickness, and change of direction skills. Can really bring some pop. Takes on blockers head on. Good functional strength (28 reps at pro day). Versatility, can play with his hand in the dirt or standing up. Experience dropping into coverage. High motor. Great character. Team captain.

Weaknesses: Raw prospect. Limited pass rush arsenal. Doesn’t have a plan of attack or any counter moves. Doesn’t have prototypical length for the edge. Setting the edge is an issue sometimes. Can play too high at times and get gobbled up.

Overview: He’s an outside backer for sure. He’s destined to be a rush linebacker, but could also play SAM in a 4-3, that runs an under or over. He could flourish in a system like Pittsburgh or Baltimore. His pass rush arsenal isn’t there yet, and may never be due to his lack of length, but he’s going to dominate the run. He isn’t afraid to mix it up with pulling linemen, but can also drop into coverage. He’s aggressive and should start right away and dominate special teams.
