Misc. Stats:

Accolades: 2017 First-team All-Mountain West, 2019 Senior Bowl,

Injuries: Missed half the 2016 season with a torn ACL.

History: Three-star recruit from Sacramento, CA. Won a State Championship at Grant High School. Came to Wyoming as a 185 pound freshmen.

Strengths: Length is impressive. Does a good job stunting inside. Has good lateral agility that can get interior linemen off balance. Uses his length well to keep himself clean on inside pass rush moves. Can get skinny and shoot the B gap. Has some experience dropping into coverage.

Weaknesses: Play strength is lacking. Plays too upright and doesn’t win the leverage game. Shies away from contact. Doesn’t have a bull rush. Athleticism doesn’t pop. Get off is average. Doesn’t offer the bend you’d like to see from someone with his frame. Doesn’t have a pass rush plan.

Overview: Granderson is a project pass-rusher at this point in the process. He has the ideal length that stands out on paper, but the film doesn’t back it up. He lacks ideal athleticism and needs to get bigger and stronger. He is far from a rush technician and will need to be coached up.
