Misc. Stats:

Accolades: 2017 Big Ten Champion, 2017 First-team All-Big Ten

Injuries: Has core muscle surgery in 2018.

History: Five-star recruit out of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. His brother, Joey was the 3rd overall pick of the Chargers in 2016, and is one of the best defenders in the league. His father John, was a 1987 First Round pick of the Dolphins. He also has mob blood lines, as his great grandfather was Tony Accardo. Has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, will forego his Senior season.

Strengths: Elite hand technician, quick and strong. Fights through blockers and has tremendous pursuit. Closing burst is real. Has excellent speed/power combo. Has a plan of attack and can process and react on the fly. Understands leverage and pushes the pocket. Can stack and shed with strength in the run game. Plug and play starter from day one, immediately upgrading your defense. Has NFL pedigree.

Weaknesses: He doesn’t have many. Not an elite athlete. Speed, agility, and explosiveness are good not great. Needs to time the snap better.

Overview: A day one starter and consensus overall number one pick. Bosa is a technician in both the pass and run game. His presense cannot be measured by his stat line. About as identical to his brother Joey as it gets, his NFL bloodlines show.
