2015: (redshirted)

2016: 12 games. 51 tackles, 4 TFL

2017: 11 games. 20 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 sack, 2 pass break ups

Misc. Stats:

Injuries:  Missed the 2015 with a torn ACL.

History: Four-star prospect out of Cleveland, Oh. Has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, will forego his Senior season.

Strengths: Get off is very impressive. Disruptive shooting gaps. Very fluid mover. Feet quickness is exceptional. First step gets linemen off balance and recovering. Good length.

Weaknesses: Thin frame. Strength in the run game is a clear weakness, needs to add bulk. Pad level is incredibly inconsistent. Gets driven back easily. Initial pop is weak. Has trouble shedding. Eyes loses the ball in the run game. Over pursues and opens big gaps.

Overview: Jones has the athletic ability that will make him a star at the combine. We will have to see what he weighs in at, but he doesn’t look 290 to me. In order to be an every down player he will need to add bulk, and that worries me that he may lose some of his quickness.

Draft Projection: Late Day 2
