Injury History.

History. Four-star recruit out of Allen, TX. Prepped at powerhouse Allen High School, where he was All-State Honorable mention as a Senior, and won a couple state titles. Participated in the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Strengths: Great build, with long arms (80 1/8″ wingspan). Strong and large hands (10 1/4″), that tug and rip free. Very good athlete. Explosive get off, looks to attack off the snap. Very strong initial pop, jolts back blockers. Pocket collapsing player, who can throw assignments into disarray. Upper body strength is evident. Takes on double teams and stacks. Versatility, has lined up over multiple gaps.

Weaknesses: Lack of overall production. Gets thrown off track, when he doesn’t win off the bat. Out of control plan of attack. Inconsistent contact balance. Needs to improve lower body strength. Needs to add mass. Still learning counters.

Overview: Onwuzurike, is a power rusher capable of playing multiple gaps along the front, but his best fit is as a 3-technique. He’s got great length, get off, and upper body strength. He needs to pack on some lbs to be an every down starter, but he will contribute right away. Ultimately, you wish he would get a little more production, which will probably have him dip deeper into the 2nd round.
