Accolades. 2019 First team All-ACC, 2020 Second team All-ACC,

Injury history. Torn meniscus Senior year of HS. Suffered season ending hand injury in 2019 and leg injury in 2020. Missed some time at the Senior Bowl practice due to an injury.

History. Five-star recruit from Bellaire, TX. Starred at Episcopal High School, where he was a two-time USA Today All-American. Participated in the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Strengths. Prototype size. Sheer strength. Has a strong club as a pass rusher. Powerful hands in the run game. Can lay the wood, packs a lot of force behind his hits. Has the bulk and strength to handle double teams. Above average anchoring ability. Gets his hands up, when he can’t get home. Good motor.

Weaknesses. Career has been well below expectations to this point. Below average athletic ability. Limited explosion and change of direction skills.Isn’t going to make many chase down plays from the back side. Doesn’t bring a ton of pass rush ability. Needs to work on leg drive when held up. Medicals need to be vetted.

Overview. Wilson is a two-gap nose tackle, that is a better run defender than he is a pass rusher. He shows the ability to stack, even against double teams, and has good length and power in his mitts. Lack of production and injury history, as well as below average rush ability will probably keep him from having his named called until day three. He’s a two-down run stopper, who has starter potential.

Evaluation based on. Louisville 19′, Miami 20′

Draft Projection: Early Day Three

Draft Grade: 5.47
