Misc. Stats:

Accolades: 2017 1st-team All-SEC, 2017 2nd-team All-American

History: Four-star recruit out of Springhill, LA. Was removed from the Under Armour All-American game due to controversial law run ins.

Strengths: NFL body. Excellent athlete. Can reach top speed quickly. Tremendous range. Great feet to weave through traffic in pursuit. Understanding of zone concepts and windows. Reads the QBs eyes well. Can run with backs in man. Effective blitzer, timing it up very well. Fiery.

Weaknesses: Overall inconsistency. Has serious issues getting off blocks. Gets eaten up on a consistent basis. Needs to do a better job shooting his hands to disengage. Doesn’t use the same aggressiveness taking on blocks, as he does on the ball carrier. Can be too aggressive biting on play action. Red flags, had multiple run ins with the law, including an incident where he and teammate Keuntra Gipson were arrested for having consensual sex with a 14-year-old, a misdemeanor in Louisiana.

Overview: A fast, rangy, athletic linebacker that can blitz effectively when called upon. White is capable of manning any LB position in a 40 front, or as a WILL in a 3-4. He is an immediate starter, best suited in a defense that already has a strong front that could allow him to run downhill and make plays.
