Accolades: 2019 First-team All-Big Ten, 2019 Second-team All-American
Injuries: Foot injury in 17′.
History: Three-star duel-threat QB out of Brown Deer, WI. Passed for 3061 yards and 27 TDs, and ran for 3923 yards and 67 TDs at Brown Deer. Was Second-team All-State as a Senior. Also played basketball and ran track.
Strengths: Good size and build. Scheme diverse. Good athlete, former Duel-Threat QB. Good range. Capable of crashing the LOS and chasing down backs. Good striker. Solid open field tackling ability. Comfortable and capable of dropping into coverage. Energy player who never stops.
Weaknesses: Lacks prototypical length of an edge rusher. Still raw, getting by more by athletic ability. Average eyes and instincts. Has ants in his pants pre snap. Tested positive for a diluted sample at the combine.
Overview: Raw athlete who’s best football is still ahead of him. Although scheme diverse, he’ll likely have to play more of a traditional LB role in the NFL. He lacks length to be a double digit sack guy, but he’s a good football player. He’s tough and explosive and is full of energy, that will likely get him drafted as a top 50 pick.
