Injuries:

History: Three-star recruit from Missouri City, TX. Attended Elkins High School.

Strengths: Great size with excellent length. Tremendous athletic traits. Quick twitch read and reactor. Very fluid hips and extremely quick feet. Lightning quick closing speed. Sideline to sideline playmaker. Processes plays in front of him quickly, and attacks. Really good and explosive blitzer. Open field tackling is a plus. Has an elite tackle radius, due to feet and long arms. Brings attitude to the defense. Great character.

Weaknesses: A little thin. Needs to take on blocks better. Will need to learn to dial back pursuit a little to avoid missed tackles vs NFL backs. Was not used in coverage a lot in Oklahoma. Doesn’t look comfortable and yet to have a feel for it. Prone to play action, LSU had him biting, clearing up the middle all day. Did not produce as turnovers at Oklahoma.

Overview: A heat seeking missile, that would benefit from having some block eaters up front to allow him to roam and react. His closing speed is something special and he has great length. He is still raw in coverage, but has a ton of upside there.

Evaluation based on games. Texas 19′, TTU 19′ LSU 19′
