Misc. Stats:

Accolades: 2016 Mountain West Conference Freshmen of the Year, 2017 Second-team All-Mountain West, 2019 First-team All-Mountain West

History: A two-star WR recruit from Casper, WY. Attended Natrona County, where he was an All-State at DB and WR twice, and Punter three times. Went undefeated and won State Titles in 2012 and 2014.

Strengths: Good size. Great athlete (former DB/WR). Great lateral ability. Intelligent player who diagnoses quickly. Sideline to sideline range. Very good instincts. Very comfortable in coverage. Very fluid. Three-down backer. Strong fundamentally sound tackler. Ultra-productive three year starter. Turnover creator (10 career ints, 2 for TDs). Three time captain.

Weaknesses: Can over-pursue the ball carrier at times. Tackle radius is average due to his lack of length. Has issues getting off blocks at times. Not a block eater. Average strength and pop. Will be a 24 year old rookie.

Overview: A versatile linebacker who can play in either front, and has three down capabilities. He can run, cover, and is a sure tackler. It may take some time for him to mentally process the speed of the game, but he has year one starter potential, with the chance to be one of the key players on a defense.

Evaluation based on games. New Mexico St. 18′, SDSU 19′, Boise St.

Draft Projection: Mid-Late Day Two
