Injuries:
History: Three-star recruit out of Phoenix, he signed with Boise St. Redshirted in 2014, suffered season ended ankle injury in 2015.
Strengths: Good height. Poised pocket passer. Has smooth release. Accurate passer with good touch on his ball. Good timing and anticipation thrower. Tall in the pocket. Throws a good accurate deep ball.
Weaknesses: Skinny, needs to add some bulk. Doesn’t have the zip on his throws you’d desire for a franchise QB. Isn’t going to offer much as a runner. His ability to drive the ball into tight windows is lacking. More of a rhythm passer. Will be a 24 year old rookie.
Overview: Good rhythm passer that has some desirable NFL traits, but ultimately doesn’t have the velocity NFL franchises covet. Can be a really good backup QB in the NFL, capable of coming in and winning some games.
