Injury History. Had successful shoulder surgery in 2019, from an injured labrum, dating back to High School.

History: Three-star recruit from Draper, UT. Chose BYU over Boise St., Cal, Fresno St., and Hawaii. Prepped at Corner Canyon High School, where he was first-team all-state as a Senior, leading his team to an 11-1 record. His father played at Utah.

Strengths: Good height/size. Arm talent is legitimate. Can alter throwing motion on the fly, when necessary. Escape artist, who has a great sense and feel, has something you can’t teach. Has tons of swagger, has the “it” factor.

Weaknesses: Was he a one-year wonder? He was a completely different QB in 2020.

Evaluation based on. Coastal Carolina 20′, UCF 20′, USC 20′
