Injuries:
History: Three-star recruit from Sarasota, FL. Attended Riverview High School. Sat out the Orange Bowl to prepare for the Draft.
Strengths: Offers some cut ability inside the box. When he gets into the open filed, he offers some good cutback running ability. Experience in a pro-style system. Team captain. Hits the hole hard, doesn’t have fear in between the tackles. Has good long speed.
Weaknesses: Limited by size. Although well built, he is barely 5’9. Lacks lower body strength and leg drive. Goes down too easy, doesn’t bring a lot of power. Limited in pass pro, mainly due to size/strength. Had only 16 career receptions.
Overview: A one cut runner with decent vision and good game speed. He ultimately lacks size, strength, and burst. Higdon was rarely used in the pass game, and doesn’t offer a ton in pass pro. He’s a backup with limited upside, that can handle some spell carries.
