Accolades: USA Today Florida Player of the Year, 2017 SEC Champion, 2018 Rose Bowl MVP
Injuries: Tore ACL in 2011. Fractured shoulder blade in 2o14. Broke arm in 201
History: Parents are from Haiti. Michel was a 5 star recruit and 3rd ranked RB in the 2014 class. Older brother Marken plays in the CFL.
Strengths: Good size, stocky build. Very quick jump cut. Excellent balance. Accelerates to get to the next level quickly, was a track star as a prep in Florida. Very respected among his teammates, two year captain. Willing and capable blocker. Picks up blitzes and holds his ground. Physical running style, strong kid (did 22 reps at combine). Shakes off arm tackles with ease. Good field vision.
Weaknesses: Ran behind a really good line, benefitted from some massive holes. Never took on a full workload. Can quit on plays in traffic, rather than try and find a hole. Inexperienced as a pass catcher.
Overview: Michel is your prototypical 1st and 2nd down running back. He’s not a bad receiver, he just doesn’t have a ton of experience in it. He should be able to start day one, as his pass pro and running ability make him NFL ready.
