History: Grew up in Reno, NV, where he attended Robert McQueen High School. Began career at Sierra College, Aiyuk came to Arizona St as a 3 star JUCO in 2018.

Strengths: Good size and length. An 80″ wingspan on a man 5’11” stands out. Good speed, with great acceleration. Dangerous with the ball in his hands, as he can hit his top gear quickly. Smooth in and out of his breaks, can snap it off and change direction quickly. Natural mover in space, getting the ball in his hands is a must. Tough to bring down, solid balance and strength as a runner. Good vision as a carrier. Has return experience.

Weaknesses: Raw, only 2 years of D1 experience. Not as physical without the ball, as he is with it. Inexperienced against press man, not comfortable releasing at this point. Has some issues digging into out routes. Contested catches issues.

Overview: Aiyuk is pretty dymanic with the ball in his hands. If he ran a 4.45 instead of a 4.50 he would be getting more buzz, being that other than the 40 (which still wasn’t a bad time) he shined at the combine. He reminds me a little of Nelson Agholor coming out, he’s pretty twitchy and can run in space. He’s still inexperienced and should take a year or two to really get going, but he should be mixed in with early on manufactured touches. He’ll go sometime in day two, and be a rotational player that immediately contribute on special teams.
